Yes 3-4% it seems. So do you think 13:1, 13.5:1 or 14:1 on 93 octane is doable? If you are going to build a max effort engine, and not use methanol injection or E85. How much compression on pump gas 93 can one safely run?

I found the thread by 11secls1. And he actually used ported heads with stock cams and intake as was 91 octane and 514rwhp. I can call Todd and see what he says. How much do you think is maximum compression on 93 octane? 12:1, 12.5:1, 13:1, 13.5:1. 6% more hp for every point of compression.
