I have a CD slot mount from my previous car. I really liked it in my Focus, but it's an awkward position in the base Mustang. It covers up some climate control buttons, it's very close to the shifter and I've bumped the phone while shifting a few times, and frankly it sits down far too low out...

I used to hold it in my hand but it always felt very dangerous. Once I got the aforementioned CD-slot Exogear mount for my Focus, I realized the necessity of having it mounted. It is so much safer and more convenient.

I see; makes sense. Of course, comparing relative gains vs. stock is the relevant criteria for assessing the effect of a tune (given that we've already bought the car), just curious about how to read the absolute measurements.

Can someone explain why the dynos being posted by these tuners show stock HP/torque numbers that are so much lower than what Ford rates the car at? Are they measuring differently or with slightly different units? Or is it just generally the case that manufacturers release HP/torque numbers that...

I'll be the first to admit that I'd have bought a GT over an EcoBoost if I felt able/willing to spend the extra money. But the EcoBoost is great in its own right.
