Iām pretty hands on so I think Iāll be fine, Iāve taken apart pcm connectors before they usually donāt require pin removal tools so if thatās the case with this one then Iām pretty confident Iāll be fine
I was considering going with HP Tuners as I plan on doing a predator blower swap later this...
I'd be very interested in one as I'm planning on installing the GT500 oil pressure/temp gauges and doing some track work so it's for datalogging purposes too.
Would this work on RHD GT's too?
Awesome write up, some good points made here
I have to admit that now everything is working properly on mine, Iāve fallen in love with the shifter all over again, itās one of the best things about the car so props to the Steeda engineers
I also love how much lower the knob sits compared to stock
I believe that when you change over from a pressure switch to a pressure sensor, you not only have to make the necessary wiring modifications but you also have to use a tuner to change the sensor type the ECM is expecting to see installed.
I believe this is not something that can be done via...
I tried this first and luckily before I put it all back together because I soon realised that after sliding the reverse collar up a couple of times, the white plastic washer falls off the āshoulderā it sits on which makes the reverse collar lose again
I recommend anyone doing this install try...
Thought Iād throw this in here too;
I didnāt see anything mentioned in the installation manual about the white washer thatās on the stock shifter, so I left it out on the initial install but now that Iāve been running it for a few months I noticed that the reverse collar (machined aluminium...
After receiving nothing back from my last email, I assumed you either lost interest because I wasnāt the original buyer or you were too busy to reply, either way I had a car that couldnāt be driven properly so I had to act quickly.
Iām not mad, just a little disappointed as the situation was one...
Thank you, it probably helps that Iām a Mechanical Design Engineer by trade but yeah a bit of guidance from Steeda wouldāve been appreciated, i understand the warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser and I wouldāve been more than happy to pay for the newer style top plate but to...
I thought Iād share this as I hadnāt read a clear solution/fix anywhere on the interballs
So I recently bought a Steeda Tri-Ax shifter (the bigger kit) to install on my 2016 GT (PP) the install all went smoothly but I quickly discovered that 1st gear was difficult to engage and 2nd almost...
Iām about to upgrade my 8ā shaker sub to the 10ā B&O (got the enclosure for $50 AUD) so my plan is to swap out the crappy 10ā sub with a Pioneer TS-D10D2 splice in the connector from the 8ā shaker amp and mount the amp on the back of the B&O enclosure or on the body of the car if thereās...
I did consider those but Iām seeing if I can do this on a budget by using parts from a wrecked gt500/350 maybe new rotors and pads then rebuild & repaint the calipers
I already have 20ā wheels, so thatās not an issue, itās more for aesthetics than performance admittedly even the PP brembos are more than adequate
I havenāt read anything about the ā24 knuckles yet, care to share some more info?
Iāve searched on here and other forums but I canāt find any info on the compatibility of the front brake setup on 2020+ GT500ās between other S550ās
Thereās plenty of info surrounding the GT350 swap but thereās not much on the GT500
Iāve been thinking of doing the GT350 swap on my ā16 GT PP...
