So I was sort of reminded by another member here with his OBX thread that I should make a thread for my TSP headers, since they are totally new to the market.

Grimace427 will be installing them for me (I'm ready anytime man, just let me know your schedule)

They seem to be identical to the OBX as far as I've found, other than the header flanges being branded with a cutout of Texas. Members like me and others know Texas Speed from the LSx world, and they are serious contenders in the market, having custom ground cams, as well as off the shelf stuff, and once they got more successful and build up a base, they got into other markets like headers offering alternatives to the usual suspects (ARH, Kooks, SW) at half the price. They'be been around for a while with great service, good feedback, etc. So I thought I've give it a try.

Pending Grimace427's schedule they'll be installed soon.

1-7/8" 304 Stainless Steel
2.0 mm thick tubing
3" merge-style collector w/ welded O2 bung
Includes new gaskets and exhaust clamps
Available with catted or non-catted connection pipes
Velocity spike for improved power and torque

$600 catless
$800 catted

http://www.texas-speed.com/p-5293-t...nnection-pipes.aspx?keyword=25-tsp15mstng178h

Only difference I can even tell from these and the OBX is the flange difference of course and that the cat spoofs are totally gutted instead of "resonators"

onto the pictures...

Thanks for letting us know Texas Speed has headers for the Coyote engine! In the past I bought headers from them for my '01 LS1 Z28 and the fit and finish was spot on!!! The price is great too! Hope to hear from you on your feedback once you get them installed.

Yep Loved TSP products on my H/C/N LS1 from back in the day. Had a 228r, PRC 5.3L Heads, and their catless Y pipe. Definitely interested in hearing results.

I had TSP headers on my Z06 before switching to Turbos. The lasted for years and no issues with them whatsoever.

The funny thing is that the turbo kit I bought was originally on the TSP Z06 shop car I found out later on. Lol

No fair. I could have sworn it was ME who reminded you to post up about this...ME!!! LOL!! Anyway, you can't go wrong with TSP or OBX for that matter. I feel like those two brands are like the Wawa orange juice which tastes better than Tropicana and is cheaper, lol!! You can get these 2 brands for just over $600 which saves you about $400 over the other guys and work just as well. Keep us posted on the details of the install!!

In for details and fitment. The pictures look good, too. I would go a catted route due to my emissions testing that happens in my county that I live in, in the state of GA.

check your local laws though..

I'm in Northern Virginia..

I don't need to worry about emissions/inspection until the car is four years old.

So I'll need to toss cats back on it for a minute in 2020. Shit by then, I'll have moved onto something bigger and better.

I'll be driving around in my 2020 Mustang or something by then (unless the Camaro magically gets un-ugly and/or Pontiac comes back)

Correct. I will have to pass emissions in 2018 since the car will be 3 years old. I am not selling this car as I love it so much. I will add the new 2020 Mustang to my collection, along side of this one. I expect that one to be the FI and my '15 will be my NA beast :)
