Who has the lighest ecoboost so far?

The dealer showed me the options list for a car I test drove. The printout included the shipping weight, which was barely 3400 lbs. This was an automatic, non PP.

My theory is that the magazines list the weight of the PP which is heavier due to added bracing and larger wheels/tires.

The listed dealer weight is with no fluids in the car. No gas, oil, trans, or diff fluid. Also when the eco came out, ford was pushing it as audi A5 competition, so they promoted the loaded Premium pack, autos, and the mags got those to weigh.

So stock yours would have been around 3500lbs. Not bad at all.

I'll weigh my GT before and after the interior reduction. I'm hopeful for 45 lbs, with no loss in comfort.

That's a good chunk without any sacrifices and being its only the interior. Curious to what you end up taking out.

I'll have to see if my old buddy still has his corner balancing scales, Those are accurate to an ounce iirc. plus I'd really like to know the weight distribution with me in the car

My single 3" exhaust will probably save a good deal of weight along with a few other items Im working on right now.

Ours was 3433 bone stock. I've since added a larger intercooler and an oil cooler, but also removed a TON of weight switching to the Ultimate Racing singe side exhaust. Lighter wheels and rotors to come, really wanting to see it in the mid-3350s.

Yea, after my single 3", and adding some minimal weight up front, the battery is going in the trunk. Then some corner balance scales to see where I'm at.

Earlier you said you had lighter rotors... AP racing rotors, or ??? I'm looking to do that as well but don't know where to start.

I said I planned on getting the AP rotors when they come out. should be next month or so.
