Difference in price to run, replacement OEM parts and overpriced M-taxed mod parts. An M3 oil change with BMW spec oil/filter is ~$150. It was a choice of how I spent my car money, and I decided to get a new Mustang over maintaining the old M3. It definitely wan't a Barrett-Jackson candidate.

Great videos OP!

I personally used to consider BMW and would not have considered the Mustang with the solid axle. Now that it has an IRS, I find it more desirable than the Bimmers due to the N/A engine, price, and fantastically good looks. Have a GT350 on order and hope to be sharing some track videos this winter.

Ford did an amazing job with this car IMO (even if it isn't as fast as a 1LE stock ;) )
