Getting Project 6g ready for SCCA Time Trial this weekend. MCS Coilovers and Vorshlag camber plates won't be ready for another 3 weeks, so I put some Eibach Sportlines on to test out this weekend, and of course some bigger shoes!

Xmas has come early from our friends at Gibson Exhaust and Jet-Hot coatings. Not only do they look great but the 2000 degree coatings work! Weight and Dyno numbers to follow!

On the Jet Hot what colors are these? Looking to get my headers and cat back coated but I wouldn't need 2000 degree thats too high. Looking for more of a protection and heat resistant coating

The midpipe is copper/red base. The axle back is satin black. Call Jet-hot and tell them Aaron at Dusold Designs sent you. They are great people and can recommend the best coating for your application.

Well... Other that a stomach bug that cut my Time Trials short, the weekend was a great success. I learned a lot about the car and with just a few changes the car worked very well. As a recap since our first track test, we have added Gibson Cat back exhaust, Eibach Sportlines, and a set of 18x11 Forgestar CF5s wrapped in 315/30-18 Falken 615s! The tires were the biggest difference, as the grip is greatly improved over the stock PP Perellis! I did not push the car to its limits as I am still learning them, but before have to leave early I did record a 1.27.2 lap, and there was plenty left in the car. As a comparison, at the same event last year, my 2013 GT with full suspension (Eibach springs and sways, Bilsteins, control arms) on 305 RE-11s, ran a 1.29.1! Discovered a few things we need to address, and I will address these as we come up with "fixes" in the future. Stay tuned. Next up will be MCS Coilovers and Vorshlag camber plates.
