Got new puddle lights. Replaced the blobs with pony's 🤣. Originals lasted just over 6 years.

Added another bit of bling, good for 20hp 🤣. Finely fitted the Brushed metal dead pedal cover by American Car Craft.

My dad used to drive that way - one foot for the brake, the other for the accelerator. I think the brake pedals were a bit bigger back then.

Did it fit ok without be modified?
Yeah it did. I just made sure I prepared the area well and pushed it as far against the transmission tunnel as possible. It definitely isn't an exact fit, there is a slight hangover/ edge brake side and the slots cut in are slightly longer than the plastic, but it still looks OK, and you forget it's there instantly. I've added a close up picture.

I took the Mustang to work today, that in itself is always a recipe for a feel-good day.

We have a mini-golf course to supplement the nursery business, school holidays are always a busy time with parents looking for activities to occupy their children.

At about 4pm today, a lady came in with two 10-year-old boys to play golf, one who then asked if the Mustang in the carpark was mine, cue lots of questions.

I'm not good with kids, but if it's a subject that I love, then I'm in my element.

I sort of knew where this was going to lead. Right on cue, they returned from their game and handed in the clubs just as I was about to go home, cue "can you rev it up"..............

A couple of blips of the throttle and then a full throttle launch onto the highway was my parting gift. I know I lived for stuff like this as a kid,
so hopefully I infected them with the Ford disease today like I was with several encounters with hot Falcon's.

(Note - I always start the car to warm it up before I leave, so I didn't thrash on a cold engine with the above antics)
