They already tried bumping my maf curve up. The thing is I’m getting 46-49 peak maf. Even adding 11% for the wot that means the maf should be reading 50-53. Which is a big increase over the factory box which has peaks around 44. Just don’t think the JLT is flowing 25% more air but who knows.
I'll have to double check my logs but if I remember correctly, I'm getting 49-51 peak MAF on my 18+ OEM CAI with the factory filter.

I am Lund tuned, but I no longer have the 18+ JLT. It had an unsteady idle and it would surge while cruising down the road. I swapped to the 15-17 JLT and it cleared up most of my issues. Where I live it gets pretty warm so the high IATs weren't fun. I ended up getting a 18+ OEM CAI and I wish I had done it from the start. Nothing but praises for this intake.
18+ oem definitely the way to go. Flows well, smooth maf, keeps iats down. Pretty much checks all the boxes.

This ^^^.

You can even go a step further with it by cutting out the honeycomb and tossing in a VelossaTech Big Mouth insert. Didn't change the temperature spread between ambient air and IAT while cruising but it did make the IATs drop down faster after sitting and idling for a time. I'd also like to say I feel a bump in midrange power but that can be subjective because I'm invested so I want to feel a difference. I haven't made a log yet to see if it's adding any fueling. It might not though because even Lund said that they haven't personally noticed needing to make fuel trim changes to cars with the insert installed.

the JLT intakes are known to lose shape when they get hot, it's a reason why they are nicknamed the Jelly intake,

Nice, It's around 90-100 degrees here now so I definitely won't see peak MAF. But the JLT did show 49 when it was like 80 on a cooler night.

I didn't read the entire thread but maf count (lbs) means little if your calibration isn't correct.

Also I've tuned the gt350 jlt 120mm on gen 2's years ago with multiple different manifolds, all drove like stock with no issues. It wasn't very difficult to dial in so I wouldn't expect any popular tuner to have any issues either.

All that being said the most I've ever seen out of any CAI over a stock 18+ intake with k&n filter was about 6 more rwhp, but then most aftermarket intakes heat soak much worse as well. I've dynoed most major intakes available.

Lastly dyno testing gains for an aftermarket open CAI with the hood open is a joke.

Is there a different between the gt350 JLT and the 18+ JLT?

Yes, the GT350 is larger in diameter at the throttle body. It probably wouldn't seal.

OIf you have a GT350 CAI that would explain the problem. If it is PM me I need one for a GT350 TB. Maybe we could trade.

No I have the 2018+ one haha. And I wonder why my tuner can’t get it to work.

Rent or buy a smoke machine, that will show any possible leaks.

My car is adding 30% more fuel at normal operation and 10%+ at wot.
That's cause he didn't tune for the JLT. He's using the stock 15-17 airbox DATA.

Wrong, the logs show maf period equals a 120 mm tube
