The IRS reduces the motion ratio, thus stiffer springs.
So the front CO is what, basically .90^2* spring rate = wheel rate.
And for the IRS closer to 0.50^2* spring rate = wheel rate.
The goal is to dial in the Frequency of the wheel rate vs the suspended weight
