Don't know if someone already noted...but the Ford changed the color of the coolant reservoir from whit to a grayish. Still can see levels.

Isn't that an old photo? I recall this being brought up before and the conclusion was that it was a photo effect from the available light.

This is legit, I was pleasantly surprised to find smoke gray coolant bottles in the two v6's I PDI'd this week.

Yes all the jellyfish in the production cars I've seen are gray and blend in much better than the white preproduction ones.

Took picture last night...was really the first opportunity I had to look carefully under the hood. Yep..not that ugly white.

Definitely an improvement. I might be able to live with this (will have to see for myself when my car is delivered). Thanks for the photo, OP!

What do you guy's think of this idea?

Score up the top half of the coolent tank with a scotch pad, then spray just the top half,
(So the coolent is still visable) Spray paint it with Flat Black high temp. Engine paint.

Think it would hold up?

Plasti-Dip will work, then if you wanna restore to original, it's removable...I sprayed it on my exhaust tips (Very Hot) over a year ago, still looks great.

The car on the showroom floor the other day looked nice gray in real eyeballs and then I took a picture and it looked jelly pink. Go figure!

Saw one yesterday on a 5.0 GT PP and it was that greyish color. I thought It may have been lighting at fist but it was defiantly grey and looked much less horrible then the picture of old.
