Excellent, Captain and I hope it's real soon. <fingers crossed>

Funny, but I don't think I've driven mine in three weeks..but it's been so dang hot and lots of ToDo's.
Tell me about it. I took the base R out just because it was too long.

Life gets in the way of the things we enjoy, but such is life....

And Tom, when you go to take the shot, take the largest image the camera can handle and then send me the full-size image(s)

I'll make us both something we can hang on the wall...you know, being Swabbie and Air Force brothers 'n all. :-)

"Hollywood," huh Tob? <smiling> I'll happily accept the moniker from you. Maybe it stems from wearing a "bag" aka flight suit for so many years in the Nav. :-)

And you are most certainly correct about the white car, (which I LOVED, BTW, and ALMOST wished I had chosen OW.) Working on a second Toob clip to show off my incredible driving skills. Heck, I even had a couple women ask for my autograph. <chuckling>

Meanwhile, I'll try to live up to the call sign. :-)

The main reason I didn't include any driving clips in the first TA video I posted is because it seems I wound up with some corrupt .MP4 files on the car's Race Keeper thumb drive. I did some wrangling with them and managed to get some of the missing "inside the car" footage.

So, I added some 1320 and track clips, along with some humor and created Part Deuce. :-)

Here it is
.

Edit: Be sure and click the gear icon in the bottom right and ensure you have HD 1080 selected. The Toob doesn't always choose the best resolution.

Hahaha ... :giggle:

My one comment from the video that an instructor said to me years (and many events) ago, "You paid for the whole track, use the whole track."

DT: "BUSTED!" <laughing hysterically>

That style stems from the almost daily electronic communication between myself and a band of brothers from the 264-day Eastern strike in 1989. Thousands and thousands of messages.

We use those brackets for all sorts of things and they just come out from my fingers so my apologies. :-) That's my excuse and I'm sticking "tuit." <smile>

I gotta admit though, I don't get the "use all the track" joke but remember, I am a waxxer not a racer. <chuckling>

Thanks, Jim and I have to admit, despite the hassle with the problem files, it was one of the most enjoyable video editing sessions I've ever had. (I ALMOST put that zoom into the wife's eyes in AGAIN, I thought it was so good. But, I knew she'd give me grief so I dint.) :-)

I love it, I use all sorts of text based inflections from way back in the day when there was no rich text, so I couldn't use __italics__ or *bold* to emphasize. I also do all sorts of [codelike] inline punctuation, like lists, i.e., what color Mustang, Red || |Blue.

Yes. It's Nerdy :D

The "whole track" idea, is, well, it's kind of like holding your shoulders up to your ears and your elbows tucked in - loosen up, flow, let the car move across the whole track, don't try to forcefully keep your line too constrained. That's just one of those comfort sort of things, the more you track, the more open, and flowing and __faster__ your technique will get.

Of course, don't go too far the other way, hahaha, a tire smoking drift out of turn 2 at Roebling will get you a little chat with the event management :D

Really enjoyed the video :)

Roebling is a bucket list track to attend. Not sure I want to "drift" at any road course. :captain::captain::captain:
