Yeah, it's a square setup with little to no protection. You can see from this post https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...pp2-replica-wheels.137142/page-4#post-2843002 that the tire is pretty flush. 285/35/19 on the the SVE SP2 19x10. I like my square setup, but if I had a pp2, I'd personally want to stay with the pp2 wheels. I think that car is perfect, which is why I've been slowly getting PP2 parts for my PP1. I only got the SVE wheels because it was near impossible to find PP2 wheels. I understand you have 275s now, but I'd want to keep the pp2 size and eventually get 305s for both sets. The square setup of the SVE wheels are nice as well since you can rotate and balance them. You can't go wrong with any of your choices. PP2 sizing gives you the ability to have a spare for your stock wheels. Non pp2 sizing gives you a better install of your current tires. SVE saves you a little money and gives you the option for a square setup.Yeah, I guess I may hold off and do that. You have no protection?! Try running 275's on 10.5/11 inch wheels lol. I park about a foot away from the curb because of that. I will post pictures later.
Hi Gismo, is this 10 inch square setup? Should I go for this setup with the replicas to use my 275's? I guess the Ford wheels and the SVE wheels have different offsets, but wanted to hear of your opinion.
This is in reference to the post you posted on 4th page of the Blue Mustang running 275's on square setup.
And you know..., I gave it a thought. And you are right regarding getting used to a particular setup. It may be best that I just get the same wheel size as I am already used to it and deal with the tire stretching issue. It is only during fall/winter anyways. But the downside is less sidewall, and stretched tires... Decisions decisions....
Regarding the blue mustang on the 4th page, I believe those were the stock tires from the pp1 rear wheels. If you like how that is looking, then definitely try to wait for the SVE SP2 wheels to get back in stock. Hopefully they are back in stock before winter.
