Yeah, I guess I may hold off and do that. You have no protection?! Try running 275's on 10.5/11 inch wheels lol. I park about a foot away from the curb because of that. I will post pictures later.

Hi Gismo, is this 10 inch square setup? Should I go for this setup with the replicas to use my 275's? I guess the Ford wheels and the SVE wheels have different offsets, but wanted to hear of your opinion.

This is in reference to the post you posted on 4th page of the Blue Mustang running 275's on square setup.

And you know..., I gave it a thought. And you are right regarding getting used to a particular setup. It may be best that I just get the same wheel size as I am already used to it and deal with the tire stretching issue. It is only during fall/winter anyways. But the downside is less sidewall, and stretched tires... Decisions decisions....
Yeah, it's a square setup with little to no protection. You can see from this post https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...pp2-replica-wheels.137142/page-4#post-2843002 that the tire is pretty flush. 285/35/19 on the the SVE SP2 19x10. I like my square setup, but if I had a pp2, I'd personally want to stay with the pp2 wheels. I think that car is perfect, which is why I've been slowly getting PP2 parts for my PP1. I only got the SVE wheels because it was near impossible to find PP2 wheels. I understand you have 275s now, but I'd want to keep the pp2 size and eventually get 305s for both sets. The square setup of the SVE wheels are nice as well since you can rotate and balance them. You can't go wrong with any of your choices. PP2 sizing gives you the ability to have a spare for your stock wheels. Non pp2 sizing gives you a better install of your current tires. SVE saves you a little money and gives you the option for a square setup.

Regarding the blue mustang on the 4th page, I believe those were the stock tires from the pp1 rear wheels. If you like how that is looking, then definitely try to wait for the SVE SP2 wheels to get back in stock. Hopefully they are back in stock before winter.

Thanks. However, it is impossible to find 305/30R19 all seasons... The only decent one I had found was the Continental DWS06's which the largest size was 275/35R19's which fit closest to the OEM setup.

Cooper make an all season 305/30R19, that’s the only tire I could find for my PP2.

you beat me to it Ralph. I run the same Cooper Zeon RS3-G1’s in 255/40/19 front and 305/30/19 rear. Decent all around tire thus far but I’m only a few day in ;)

Does anyone know what the difference is on these wheels? Obviously the sizing and offset but the part#’s are way different. I want to go 19x10” up front and 19x11” in the back and this is the closest I’ve gone since SVE is no longer producing at the moment.

To run these 19x10 front you will need 15-20mm spacers.
19x9.5 need no spacers

Anyone know if these PP2 fronts will work to bolt onto the rear position of my 19 PP2 car? Thinking i get one front and mount a tire. Then can have a single wheel as a spare to take on a road trip. I suppose I can jack up my car and swap the front and rear wheels that are stock and see if the front will actually fit on the back position without modification but hoping someone can save me the drudgery ?

It will poke more than the front.
Imagine putting a 1 inch spacer on your rear wheel. That's roughly the result.

Unless hitting something, a 1” poke would be ok as a spare tire, yes? It is just temporary in case of a non-repairable flat while on a road trip. Am i missing something?

Unless hitting something...but if it hits the fender with suspension travel it could be dangerous.
There's some variables in play like camber, tire size and ride height. Swapping your front for rear or adding a 1 inch spacer would help analyze it.

On the other hand 19x9.5 would be a safe option for both front and rear spare.

So I plan to go with 9.5" 275 35 19 in the front; and 11.0" 305 35 19 in the rear. I found some Michelin Pilot Sport Super Sport tires in those sizes so I think I may pull the trigger. Will this set-up work on my 19' GT (non-PP) without issue?

See no issue for fitment. However, consider that a 305/35 has a 27.4 diameter and a 275/35 has a 26.6 diameter so this combo will give you a 0.4 front rake.

Thank you. It's my boy's car and he prefers a staggered look. I'm hoping .4" isn't too much. Can anyone point me to a photo of a car with this set-up, or with a similar rake. If it is too much, my options are limited with PSSS. Could switch to 295 35 in the rear which would reduce the rake very slightly. As someone mentioned earlier, 265 40 in the fronts would completely eliminate the rake.

On another note, what vendors are folks using to purchase the PP2 replica wheels? I'm less concerned about price than I am about communication/customer service, and the vendor not getting enough allocation, which would extend the wait.
