Progress is being made on the Archetype Racing front splitter. Few adjustments to the bolt locations and wind fence and we can start to lay up some carbon.

Properly sized side skirts, rear diffuser and custom swan neck also coming soon .

200 more miles to San Diego. Handling some business down here for the next couple days.

New lowering spring setup consists of CFTP rear springs and BMR 1/4” drop fronts from Costal Dyno. Ride is superb.

Archetype Racing front splitter hasn’t killed anything yet, but it sure is hungry.

I might put all those bolts on the other side (except the 2 that overlap the caliper mount) so the outside isn't so industrial looking. Also as someone else mentioned it's common to use 2 if not 3 different bore sizes on the pistons in a setup like this. And a mid-span bridge to re-enforce the middle might not be a bad idea. Granted the likes of Brembo do 1 piece calipers...

San Diego trip complete.

Met with @AMBJR and swapped my convenience seats for Recaros. Direct swap with only 4 bolts.

Met with a few shops. Took some shots of the car with V8Venom. Prepping for a comfortable ride back home.
.
Velocity Blue GT500 lowered on the Signature Wheel Attack Series SV602. Twister Orange GT500 on the Signature Wheel Precision Series SV703.

Good call going with the Recaros. These are fantastic seats. Huge upgrade over the S197 Recaros.

I did the same swap in my S197 GT, swapped the heated seats for factory Recaros and never regretted it.

This time I just ordered the car with Recaros.

Thanks brother. I thought there were trash initially, but lightroom saved me.

Agreed. Assuming I keep my girlish figure I will not order another car without Recaro seats.

Back about 4 years ago, I got the DSC Sport controller for my Focus RS. It completely changed the way the car rode and handled. It removed most of the bouncy (pogo effect) ride the RS was noted for. It gave a very nice smooth softer ride on the normal setting and stiffened the sport setting enough to where it was just perfect for spirited driving. It slightly softened the Track setting which was all but unusable on the street and made it perfect for the track. In using the software, you can pretty much tailor any parameters of the shocks and at least on the RS were able to choose more than two shock settings in each driver mode. I will be anxious to see what this controller will do for the GT500.
