So, I have a 2017 Roush RS3 and after bumping my HP up to about 730 Crank, I always felt like the IRS was "Numb" or could not really tell what was happening back there, plus our City streets can be kinda rough and you could feel that the rear was "Loose". Don't know if that is a good word for that. Far better then the Live Axle from previous years.
Enter Steeda, a name I have used before and I thought, let try something.
I ordered the IRS Alignment kit and the IRS Sub frame Support braces.
Only took about 1.5 hours to do both on Jack Stands.
Went out for a test drive and within 100 yards, I knew I had made a good choice.
The IRS felt much stiffer, but not harsh, like it was now actually attached to the Car. The back end didn't feel Loose anymore. Much more control and when applying heavy throttle, the car was planted and did not Kick out as much as before.
Hitting bumps in the road are much better absorbed as the IRS can do it's job now that it is secured better to the frame of the car.
Does it sound like I like these two parts and what they did for my car? YES.
