Great feedback and question. What concerns me the most is contact with the fender if the tire protrudes too much. I honestly don't care too much about poke at least not from a "how it looks" perspective. The current clearance right now I can barely fit my hand between the tire and the top of the fender well. I'd hate to come off an HPDE session (whenever that ever happens again) and find that stuff is damaged.

As for camber, I am trying to stay as close to stock as I can within reason. -1.5* of camber +/- 0.8* is what 2morrow shows above which sounds about right. I believe @NightmareMoon touched on how these cars get finicky about camber changes and I'm not experienced enough to really venture into custom alignments at this moment.
Understood. Yeah at that camber setting, a +50 with 20mm spacer and your current 295/35 (27.1" dia) tire it may be really close under full compression. I don't have personal experience with that exact setup so can't say for sure... You would be less likely to have fender contact though if you step the diameter down with the 305/30 (26.3" dia). In fact, at one point I was switching between street (-1.5) and track (-3.0) camber with a 305/30, +50 w/20mm spacer and I was totally fine. So my advice would be to go with the 305/30 (assuming a track oriented spring and not something super soft) or... you can run a bit more aggressive camber on the street to ensure the tire tucks in under compression. -2.5+ should work.

I just daily drive my track alignment now (-3.0 front camber, 0 toe) and I find the car is quite enjoyable to play around with on a typical grocery run. Tire wear is even, but I do take corners harder than a prius. I would presume the finicky comment mentioned may be more of an effect of toe out which some people tend to like for track... but that is another story. I find 0 toe up front to be perfect for steering feel, tire wear, handling on track, and it's just fine on the street.

I just looked at this picture again... dear lord man. My cellphone is thicker the clearance in that picture!

Yep, the plan is to go 305 square. The idea of using the same wheel makes rotation a reality for me (first time for this car). If this works out, I'll leaning more towards 305/30-19 MP4S or Cup 2 mainly because of this thread. Not 100% sold on it yet, need to get sold on the wheels first. With what you said, I think I'm pretty much there.

I really appreciate your input :)

You can tell from ModularKidā€™s pics that you need more than his offset to fit a wider 305 tire at the strut (which pushes the whole wheel out) and then more than his camber to fit that offset and wide tire under the fender. 1 degree of extra camber moves the top of the tire in approximately 6-8mm or so.

If you want stock camber, go with a narrower front setup.

i wouldnā€™t say the cars are ā€˜sensitiveā€™ to camber. Tire wear can be for cars driven at the track tho, thats well known.

Slight differences exist between the PS4S and PSC2 in 305/30-19, mainly in the tread width. Shown in comparison to the 295/35-19 on 10".

Thank you very much @Norm Peterson. I really appreciate the insight, this really helps a lot as far as choosing a spacer!
