Sorry for the confusion, but 7800 is to high. What tuner?

Mine tuned has the drag mode setup (300a base) in Sport mode on the shifter in S. It shifts around 7500 rpms while my Drive is 7100 rpms. The S or drag mode is faster in both et and trap than D. I had my tuner set it up this way so my D basically drives like stock in normal driving. Lund usually makes the Drive the drag mode and locks out the higher gears. Not sure if they still do it that way, but not my preference. fyi.

Had car on dyno peak hp was at 7000.433 at rear.Took to the track and notice the et was down and mph also.Car was shifting in 6th at stripe.Before the tune i used half of 6th at the stripe.Notice the car was shifting at 7800 and was 700 t0 800 rpm above peak power,Adjusted the shift points at back to the track we go.

Im looking forward to trying out my 18 at the track this weekend. A10 base so has the 3.15 gears. Im lund E85 tuned with SP 1 7/8 LTS, H-pipe and Roush axle back with a JLT CAI. Entering into the 7.50 index class (1/8th mile)

Im running a JMS drag pack with M/T ET Street Rs though

I believe the iat was around 140 deg,
That's crazy iats unless you were staging for a very long time. That's about 60 over ambient. That's with the OEM closed intake or open element cai?

Yeah that DA is killing you, with same mods and Lund tuned, I ran an 11.3 at 123.XX. Was close to 200 DA though. 1.71 60ft though.
