RAPID RED S550 MUSTANG thread

I know I own an Ingot Silver Mustang, but I’d still say Ruby Red/Rapid Red is the best kind of color for the S550. Absolutely mesmerizing when clean.

Not Mustangs... but an old picture I had of Rapid Red (Explorer) vs Ruby Red (F350). Difference is pretty noticeable, even for a cloudy day.

Rapid Red seems to me very much like Red Candy, but in bright sun the highlights pick up a little less of the red - they're a little brighter. I don't know what the term for that is.

Its also a new color that just came out, so not many people are going to have one in that color yet to post photos. Compared to a color like Magnetic, which has been around for years and years and have tons of owners at this point.

Yeah, red is one of those perennially popular colors in whatever variation. I think when I picked mine up at the end of January I'd seen exactly two Rapid Red Mustangs, neither of them out on the road.

just traded in my 2015 ecoboost for this 2020 gt in rapid red. was a little hesitant on the color at first when i saw it in photos, but it looks great in person.

@dpAtlanta You could start a Ford Performance Blue thread yourself to get the ball rolling. Or ask @Twin Turbo to start one for you.

Meanwhile, here is a Rapid Red. It looks more like Ruby Red in these semi-overcast conditions:
