With a “vehicle sold” record on the carfax, would the eventual purchaser qualify for invitation to the Track Attack experience?

It's not really a "vehicle sold" but more of a Dealership exchange. Still a new vehicle.

Absolutely as this is a brand new vehicle and has never been titled therefore suggest that you should have no issues with respect to qualifying for the Track Attack experience.

I live just down the road from this dealer if anyone needs eyes on. It’s a pretty small dealership that I have had no experience with

This is an interesting topic, reminded me of GT350R dealer searches I was doing last year (when I had nothing else better to do lol), and saved pictures of this exact same sceanrio - GT350Rs (presumably new) without the rear wing installed. Really wonder what happened here...

Also, check this one out - a GT PP2 (also a pic saved last year) with a GT PP1 pedestal wing installed.
I downloaded the Window Sticker as well, just to see if this was some special order (though I doubt they would have accommodated this anyway), and sure enough, no mention of pedestal style wing on the WS.

I wonder if these cases were a supplier issue, and Ford was not about to delay the production of these units, and built and shipped them anyway?

Or it could simply be Flat Rock mistakes - I think most of us know FR had some issues, especially at the beginning of the S550 run (for example, stories of the right door panel installed on one door, and the incorrect trim door panel installed on the other; premium trim stitching mis-matches; and for PP2 guys, one forum member who I believe had a front rim installed at the rear from the factory, only noticed when he got home (I believe 3 front 10.5" rims, a third ended up on the rear. Should be 11" rims on the rear)

I don't recall anyone having these issues from the factory prior to 2019 or in 2020 for that matter.

KR799 is the latest I’ve see on the forum or FaceBook, I’ve got KR785. I’ve email the FPG and still waiting on an answer to the build numbers.

That would actually be a cool R to own. To bad dealer will not sell it that way.

Just an update on this car... the rear wing and rear seat delete have been installed. My understanding is that they want $5k ADM.

JUst posting in case someone wants an R.

I called and talked to this dealer about this exact car 3/4 months ago when i was hot and heavy looking for an R in ruby/rapid red. They kept telling me over and over again that splitter on the car is correct because it says shelby. I'd stay far away from this car if I was in the market.

It's amazing how little the dealers know about some of their specialty models, despite the training and / or research they should be doing.

In an ideal world, even if they're not an SVT or Ford Performance dealer, they should at least have a few dedicated sales staff to know the ins and outs of the specialty vehicles. For what they're charging, don't insult the intelligence of the enthusiasts who almost always know more about the vehicle than they do.

P.S. How are you liking the Heritage Edition?

LOVE the heritage, glad I ended up in the car over an R for me because I can take my daughter with me on weekend drives! Took some time but a base heritage with the recaros was certainly the sweet spot for me. These cars really are amazing for the money paid.

Other thing to note when i was talking to this dealer I was told that they were provided the car from the original dealer without the wing or seat delete panel, sounds like from previous posts they have sourced them, but the fact that they still want ADM for a '19 that has been on various dealer lots for 8ish months is insanity. I had a dealer on long island new york that was ready to sell this same car except it wasn't missing pieces for just slightly under MSRP (now sold of course). I really do recommend people keep looking if in the market. I'd take a used 19 over this car personally... or better yet there is a '17 grabber blue R for sale in chicago for 65k :)
