About ten on intake and exhaust and another ten or so for the stereo. Another ten will get the suspension and wheels covered.

OK, so I added it up. Gulp! Here it is:
$32,200-Car OTD (new) with extra warranties

$588.00-Bling: chrome oil cap, chrome brake fluid cap, chrome coolant cap, chrome washer fluid cap, chrome dip stick holder, coolant reservoir cover, strut tower covers, rear window accent decals, logo seat belt shoulder pads, logo door handle storage bins, chrome fuel door, brake light sequencer, licence plate frame.

$479.00 Functional/performance mods: hood struts, strut tower brace, jacking rails, cargo net, K&N wet air filter.

$850.00 Maintenance: soap cannon, buckets, car wash, microfibers, wet/dry detail spray, window wipes, leather wipes, self serve hand spray car washes, wheel cleaner, tire shine, wash mitt, paint repair pen. Ford Pass points has paid for 3 "The Works" maintenance services, and will pay for the one due again now as well.

Priceless: Having the cute 20-something girl at Burger King drive through say "Wow! Nice car!" (Happened last night when I got back from a 800 mile mini road trip)

I'll guess $6-7K in mods, $3K actually installed. I'll get to it some day or pay my indy to install all the suspension parts still in boxes.

I've got around $16k in modifications done to my '08 including tires but not counting fluids and a few minor odds and ends. That averages out to only a little over $1300/year, so the financial sting has never been all that bad.

However, the mod I have in mind next is going to hurt that low average annual cost (no, it's not forced induction).

About $5 k in Aussie dollars - Ceramic coating bout $2000 / personal number plates $1500 / spare wheel $700 / hood struts $180 / window tint $400 / boot mat think bout $230. maybe another $200 for other odd stuff.

Hope to get my tail light sequencer tomorrow is another $220, i say it now, that will be last thing i get / have done to it.

Is money well spent for car i will keep for a few years.

How much money have you spent on your Mustang?

The total can include the purchase price + mods, any combination in between, rough estimates, exacts, approximates, whatever.

I was counting up how much I've spent since 2018. I landed around $27,382.37 (not including the purchase price). I love my car but it makes me a little physically ill thinking about it:crackup:.
Whatever it takes to gap those fools on the street lol

Not that either, not a done deal yet . . . and not a Getrag if/when it does happen.

Mustang msrp was $50.7k. Agreed upon price became $42.7k
Mods cost me about $24k total. Not counting labor costs. Let’s not forget wasted mods once the whipple goes in like the Roush intake and the -riot Roush “canned” tune and the current custom Dyno tune. Or the ford performance decklid panel since I changed it to a drake one. My GT is what you would call a money pit. So you figure my Mustang cost me one new GT and one new EcoBoost. Lmao.

But will outperform cars that cost twice as much as the total spent.
Yes. 100% and will look better than most mustangs out there. A lot of time and effort put into the thought process of my 18. Only thing left to get in my opinion is Ford Performance half shafts and thats it. Done. Most likely. Lol.

Thousands. Just like every other performance car I've owned.
