My Phase I plan was to combine aspects of both the California Special and 50th Anniversary Packages together for an unique look. Your vert was a great example to follow. I always wanted the wheels off the 50th Anniversary.

Now that Phase I is complete...it's time to move onto Phase II!! First project...install the H-pipes!

I had stripes put on last weekend. Ordered the kit off ebay and had a local shop install. 19" staggered black wheels and tires coming next week.

2017 Lightning Blue with flat black stripes

I went with the flat black stripes on my Lightning Blue. We outlined them with white, in Shelby style.
Only issue is where the front clear bra is, it makes the flat black shiny around the front bumper area.

So I'm about 48 hours from getting my Grabber Blue convertible and can't wait!! Being an Australian spec it has the clear/white tail lamps which I'm considering blacking out as I've already got the U.S spec rear deck lid with black badges all around because I really think that as awesome as Grabber Blue is, it needs toning down with some black accents. Stripes are the only thing that I haven't seen very much of on Convertible Mustangs around the streets of Sydney. I've seen silver stripes on a DIB, and white on a GB Fastback, and black on a GB Fastback. So, if you have stripes on your Vert Stang - SHOW ME YOUR STRIPES!!

What shop do you get to install the stripes? I've pinged several window tinting places and nobody will do it.

My 2018 GT convertible came with flat blue stripes. The car is white and has all of that black body trim, top and wheels. The blue stripes just looks out of place and I want to get rid of them. They are just vinyl, but they are really stuck on well. Any tips for getting rid of them? I want to get all of the black body trim painted white, too.

If they are vinyl, pick up a corner and peel. If you need some help, grab a hair dryer or a heat gun (Careful with a heat gun) and loosen the glue. Again if they are vinyl, they will come right off. Shouldn’t even leave residue behind.
