unles that corner actually contacts the fender when openinig and closing, I already see some mark on the original paint?

I am ready to buy one here in Canada , I am just trying to connect with a distributor here since I can’t cross the boarder who knows how long to pick it up . Times are not that good for ordering parts .

Just a heads up, looks like i5 autohaus will be making their 18+ GT500 style hood available this month.



This one is aluminum and going by the 15-17 version, the louvers come pre-painted in gloss black.

Looks like the hood pins are non-functional as this one looks more like a replica but I’ll probably be going this route as opposed to cervini (depending on the price).

Look how terrible the fitment is on the passenger side where the bumper lines up. And that’s their ig page which means that’s as good as it gets. Yeah no thanks. Trufiber’s is 20lbs less than Cervinis.

Well I ordered a GT500 hood for my car today . It’s a large ticket here in Canada but at least it will be different!

I just purchased a whipple for my 18. Once it’s installed I’ll get the hood next. I refuse to get this hood with out a super charger under that vent. Lol.

lmao!!!! My thoughts EXACTLY!!!! As I just got my stage 2 and busted out the cerakote I use on my guns. Did the lid and the hardware ‍

It is the same on the 15-17 hood.

Looks the biz, whoever aligned your bonnet to bumper was spot on, some of these gt500 hoods look like the leading edge curves in slightly to the front bumper.

I could be wrong, but it seems like the 15-17 hoods fit a bit better than the 18-20's I've seen.

So has anyone have any feedback on the I-5 Autohaus GT 500 hood. I do like the Cervini's, but the aluminum weight of the I-5 appeals to me since I am planning to add a blower. Also, have any of you taken your hoods to a ford dealership for painting your hoods and getting it to fit? Any feedback there?

I dont know of any Ford dealserships that do painting. They usually have local body shops do it.
