They're booked till September for a simple dyno? Or are you looking for a dyno tune? I got my car dynod at go-wraps in Fremont, CA. I basically did a random walk-in during the week. It was $100 for 3 pulls.I’m getting my car tuned and RPM is the closest dyno shop. But, RPM is booked until September. I'm willing to travel up to 200 miles outside of Sonoma county.
Thanks,
This was for a remote tune 2-hour dyno rental. They are a busy shop. They're booked till September for a simple dyno? Or are you looking for a dyno tune? I got my car dynod at go-wraps in Fremont, CA. I basically did a random walk-in during the week. It was $100 for 3 pulls.
I picked up 47rwhp on e85. AED is widely know to be one of the top tuners in the country instead of going with some randoSounds interesting. Got any base line vs tuned dyno plots to back up your fail?
Thanks,
Thanks for the info.I picked up 47rwhp on e85. AED is widely know to be one of the top tuners in the country instead of going with some rando
But you do you bro
Edit: Lund and PBD being the other top tuners but doing an in person Dyno tune is easier and safer
For a track car I would be more comfortable with an in person Dyno tune for the safety aspect and he can see what other weird issues are happening too. All the tuners will get about the same peak power the difference is trans logic, safety, how smooth it is, etcThanks for the info.
I’m probably going Lund. I have only seen one AED tuned car. It was faster than when Lund tuned it; but, not as fast as The final Paramount Speed tune. I think Paramount might have been remote tuning through PBD. But, I don’t really know. That particular car went high 10s at Sonoma Raceway. 2018 A10 NA E85 car.
My application is a dedicated track car (NOT drag strip) and I don’t want the potential hassles of letting E85 sit in the tank. But, if I find a local E85 station...currently the closest station is in Napa. This is a brand new build and who knows how it will wind up.
Cheers,
Mine is a dedicated track car. Thanks for the info.

from a base with 96 octane you will probably get like 20rwhp on E85. i was on 91 when i did my baseline before E85 which these cars really do not like. i use the concord station a lot, as well as the one near me in brentwood. if i am on the peninsula there is a good one in redwood city at the valero on whippleMine is a dedicated track car.
I tuned with PBD on the Dyno at FTB dyno i. Sonoma.
I have 465whp for my 10 speed with JLT tune (96 oct tune) and catback.
I also got the e85 tune and I tried it at Laguna on June 21. A beast.
i supposed to be at least 10-15whp more minimum. Gonna test soon again for NASA purposes.
I was concerned too about availability. I live in Walnut creek and there are 2 stations. 1 in concord. 1 on 680 (SUNOL)
i have to say it is worth it. Especially for the cost compared to 100oct.
Don't track with 91...
Where u at?
