The only drilling needed is into the bottom side of the two existing fins, so the process is reversible, leaving only two small holes where you're not likely to see them.
The brackets on either side mount out of sight using factory mounting holes.

@Drake Muscle Cars what “hardware” comes in the box? I’m thinking of buying an open box one but seller states it’s missing hardware. What would I be missing out on?

I'll check with engineering for you, we should be able to let you know what hardware might be missing, though there are brackets that you will need too.
