Hey, how come you have Wi-Fi on a 2019? You're not from the US, right? Not even 2019 Bullitts have it here; only 2020s have it. I never used it on my truck after it expired, but my wife really liked it while the subscription lasted. She was disappointed my Bullitt didn't have it.
i have wifi on MY17 in the UK - it's utter pants but its there

I have Wifi on my 2019 also. It came with a free three month subscription also, but I have never used it.

Let’s not confuse WiFi with FordPass Connect. Mustang’s with 101a and 401a packages have the modem that allows the hotspot. All other Mustang’s get WiFi but do not have the modem.

i'm having the same LST_ERR05 issue; the installation instructions state that LST_ERR05 occurs because the MAP License file isn't in the SYNCMyRide folder. placing the license file in the folder doesn't resolve the LST_ERR05 issue.
Add me to the list. Tried several things.
It was bad enough I was getting esn errors just trying to look the update up. Got around that. Then it was saying I already had the latest. Next day it had the update for download. Now this.
I feel like I'm working with windows me.

Mine is a 401a. Like I said comes with a free 3 month trial subscription via AT&T. :)

I'm not even going to bother to try the files I downloaded since the Ford USB arrives tomorrow. I will see what happens when I try it.

So...after updating the Sync to the latest version yesterday, I actually logged back into the Ford.com and confirmed the update by selecting the XML file that they asked for. I logged out and then checked and site now shows that I updated to the latest 3.3. I forgot if the map updates had the requirement to submit the XML file to confirm.

I have tried twice to do the update from the site by downloading the map files and license file. Both times I get the same LST_ERR05 issue. I have double-checked my USB, and the files are in the correct locations. If a Ford executive could see this page of loyal owner complaints, I would hope he/she would be embarassed. Ford has taken what should be a simple update process and totally hosed it up. Sheesh.

I checked again today and this time it said I had an update rather than saying I was up to date. Just downloaded the files and will be taking a ride later today and will try to update it. Will post back what happens. The about screen says I have version 1.17 even though I had updated to 1.18 quite a while ago. I also have the latest 3.3 ver of sync.

My 19 has a wifi modem and hotspot that is supplied free for 90 days by ATT, I believe. Could be late 19 builds, mine was 8/19.
Mine is also 8/19 build date, so that wasn't it. Plus others also confirmed having it. So it's just that Ford, for some reason, didn't put it on Bullitts, even though they're supposedly '401A' cars, but they're really not. Some of the 401A features are standard, while others part of the 500A package, and at least the Wi-Fi Hot-Spot (forgot what Ford calls that feature) MIA. Oh well. By the way, the AT&T Wi-Fi Hot-Spot on my 2018 F-150 Platinum worked really well. Never renewed it, but it worked well. I thought it'd be the same with the Mustang, but if it wasn't, then it was even less relevant. Ha ha. I'd never use it, but my wife would. Guess she can use her iPhone as a 'hot-spot' :).

Nope. Just with the Sync updates. Didn't happen with the F-150, nor the Mustang.

Not sure why yours does not have the hotspot, but according to the 2019 ordering guide it should.
