I am driving them with a Helix P-Six. I think it is 120 watt per channel.I started out with the JL 600/6 like you have.
It was good, but it falls short on the power. It needs just a touch more.
I would have to guess that the right amount of amplification would be 100 watts.
Yes I did go in to forscan to eliminate the factory eq processing.Great thing about the head unit is it never clips. It will run wide open.
I have to open the software to look, but I think I crossed the door woofers at 90Hz.Then let the subs do the rest of the bottom work.
It seemed that they were "stressed" abit when I tried both 75hz and 80 hz.Plus it rattles the door panels too much.

which module are the settings in - I do not see an ACM module. We think there may be an issue with our equipment. We see all of the high speed modules.

Racemaster which ODB II device are you using with FORScan? MX, MX+ or ODB link EX?

Yeah probably a issue with device that you're not seeing all the modules. OBDLink MX and MX+ should work. I've used MX and had no issues with it

Racemaster - forgot to ask - what settings did you do on FORScan? And what input setting on the DSP Low of High input?

Latest update.

Bought this device -
https://www.scantool.net/obdlink-mxp/

Purchased the FORScan software

Excellent write up here

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-8dKaS_Spu4Zw4hV_CrKC4tLoP9G8yejqegF1wxIqxY/edit

Set the following option in ACM module ACM 727-01-02 from 0288 to 0088 to turn off the head EQ.

Variable Line Level Preamp Outputs From ACM (for adding aftermarket amp without sound clipping)
ACM 727-01-01 xx5A xxxx xxxx
Turn off EQ
ACM 727-01-02 00xx

This did the trick. This change allows the DSR1 to shine. No more clipping from the head unit. System now sounds awesome.

One note if you have a tune on your car you will need to reinstall the factory tune, make th changes to the audio and then reinstall the tune.
