Cervinis GT500 hood for 2018

Got mine delivered 2 weeks ago. About 6 weeks after ordering. Paint seemed fine till I got it in some sun. Looks like a bad buff job. Called them and was told it was “ghost impressions” and to wash it with dish soap and let it sit in the sun for 3 days. That didn’t fix it lol. Working with their customer service now to hopefully work something out.

After my purchase, I definitely wouldn't order directly from them, I would order through Lethal/LMR so that you have someone to go to bat for you. The product is nice, the fitment was great, and for me the paint match was awesome, but their CS just isn't up to par, not sure if that is related to COVID or just Business as usual.

It's business as usual. I've heard some horror stories on their customer service. Refusing to fix things, etc..
I took the gamble myself.

Aside from my local body shop quotes, the paint has a 5 year warranty, so I will be better taken care of locally than Cervinis by painting it locally.

My local body shop will do 600-800 paint entire hood both top and bottom with 5 year warranty along with baking and installing and price could go to 1000-1500 if they gotta fix glassing and if waves are present.

Yea, they charge extra to paint the underside of the hood.

The edges at the rear are not great, but the surface ist really nice.
Will be painted this week.

Just curious what you mean by the edges at the rear aren't great? Not lining up with the fenders? Or is something wrong with the edge of the hood?
