IF f I had a pp2 the 1st thing id do is get rid is that mt-82 and get a Tremec magnum swapped in and a set of 4:10's... that car would be awesome. had a Tremec with 4:10's in my 2012 great transmission..
How much would the tranny cost, including remove and replace?

If you do this this yourself about $5500 including a new clutch and driveshaft..if you have a shop do all the work add another $1800. It ain’t cheap but its a good investment especially if your gonna boost the car..

The 3160 is great tremec transmission if your not going boosted. The magnum is necessary for boost..

I know we all hate the mt-82. But VMP did swap a 2020 gt500 engine with the mt-82 behind it and it drove lol. I truly think the mt-82 is pure luck on weather your trans is a good mt-82 or bad one.

What will a PP2 cost after you swap out the tranny, add the coolers and all of the other upgraded parts being put into the Mach 1?
Unless your MT-82 breaks there isn't reason to upgrade the tranny, the 2019+ revision is doing just fine. If you planning to go FI you're going to want to replace either of them eventually.

I will assume the Mach1 will start at 49,995, but I'll be amazed if its under 50K.

You can get a PPL2 for low 40's, High 30's. I'll assume 42K.
Power Pack from FP: $1200 (that puts you at the 480HP output already)
Magneride bars from FP: $420
Magneride springs from FP: $280
Full Tilt Boogie Diff cooler kit: $1075 (though people have found other cheaper solutions to the diff cooling.)
Steeda Stop the Hop kit: $350
4-pt G-Trac Brace: $165

So that's about 42K for the car then about $3,500 in running gear that should put you slightly ahead of the Mach1, many people tracking the Mach1 would likely do the Steeda parts also. So that's probably about 5K cheaper than the Mach1 will be. Not including Markup prices. Even if you do wanna do the 3160, I've seen people getting them for under 3500.

Or you can just get a used 16-17 GT350 for like 40-45k with under 10k miles on it and also not give a damn about the Mach1.

koons is solid to compare prices too, big high volume dealer brand. They always post steep ass 'Koons' discounts. I have bought 2-3 cars from there where their advertised price was not that far off from my A-plan discount.

Cowles Ford in VA is another big high volume outfit that tends to advertise big discounts. I bought my '18 there and they were advertising the 'Cowles discount' within a ballpark of the A-oplan price. I was shocked

All that said Ive been keeping tabs on Mustang pricing and they arent really discounting them much right now. Dealers in general are advertising pretty mediocre deals on them, considering car buying has taken a bit of a nosedive with the 'Rona. Very disappointed in prices now. Supply is not very good either; there are not many mustangs for sale like before. Much harder to find specific option packages.

I had a dealer completely ignore a request for a factory order. I know factory orders dont move cars for dealerships but I have NEVER had a dealer flat out ignore it lol. Just insane. Sign of the times?

Hi all, I’m not finding any new PP2s on autotrader etc. is production over for 2020? I’m assuming they won’t be bringing the package back for 2021 with the introduction of the Mach 1.

looking for velocity blue if anyone knows of any. Thank you

Dom
I am a dealer in Canada and currently there is one 2019 (black) located on Vancouver Island. 2020, there are (5) 301A in Alberta and (2) 401A (leather) in Western Canada. The PP2 is an exclusive club up here.

Haha, yes it is :p Can you believe though FFS that there are 4 301As in AB and ALL of them are Black!? Like, seriously? Debating whether I can make that colour work in lieu of Velocity Blue (which looks so darn good on this car) or Iconic Silver... If I buy one of the Black Ones, it is a skull and cross bones on the roof :p

Comes with black wheels, and a roof wrap is the only vinyl I would say anyone can do. Even if installed by a shop, just the roof would be cheap because of how simple it is. Grab some black badges, and you're good to go. Plus you get to set the youtube record "fastest black accent package pp2" :cwl:
Hah! I'm loving it! Highly leaning towards ordering for 2021 VB PP2 or a Mach 1... Still deciding on a PP1 and full race mode. Had a GT350R on order, but cancelled.

No indication that there is going to be a 2021 PP2 yet so if you want VB, you might want to talk to your dealer now. If your looking at a Mach 1 then in addition to the wait you know dealers are going to be adding ADM’s especially on cars with the HP.

There will be, it is just GT package trim IMO. Which is why the PP1 has been an option since. Least, that is my guess.
