Definitely in if there's a solution that doesn't involve slightly messy wiring and a bunch of wire taps....

Im with you on this, I would not tap into any factory harness wires. Iā€™d rather leave the car alone at that point.

No desire for the car to do this. I hate the up-shift rev matching. The hill assist is even worse but thankfully it can be disabled.
HP Tuners hardware/software can disable the up-shift rev matching if it bothers you enough to spend the money to fix that. They call if rev hang.

This would be interesting. The GT350 does not have a gear sensor Id think youd need one to implement this at the OEM level.

Iā€™d assume, since the Mach 1 will have the same tranny, is that this may be simple plug n play.

Iā€™ll assume you mean down shift rev matching. Rev matching is a little easier on the clutch and transmission, but to each his own.
So far I think the hill hold assist is pretty cool. It works on my car just fine, surprising actually because I forgot I has it....new car.

Would definitely be interested in seeing what would be available (still working to improve my heel toe abilities)

Are we building enough demand here that maybe we can get someone to make this happen?

It canā€™t hurt for a bunch of us to talk about it on here !
The ball needs to start rolling somewhere.
