For sure the video is legit, there IS a "car" in it but WHAT car is the question. I'm inclined to go with those who believe it's just a "crazy conversion." :-)

For sure a prototype would be covered in camo, they were able to keep the Mach1 under wraps till they were ready. On that fact alone I am very skeptical of this being a legitimate GT500 convertible. Dealer tags kinda throw some doubt too I feel.

Are the fenders wider on the GT500 like they are on the GT350? The ones in the photo don't look any wider than a GT, to me.

If a real GT500 Vert is coming, I will be getting in line to buy.

This is probably either a Mustang GT or Ecoboost with a GT500 front conversion (hood, fender, fascia) and some Shelby Snake logos. I very highly doubt this is an actual GT500 with the top chopped off. I can't tell what the rear valence looks like since the pictures are too dark. As others have said this appears to be Ingot silver, which isn't available on a '20 GT500. It could be a 15-17 with the rear tail lights swapped with 18+ and a GT500 replica rear end, or vice versa, an 18+ with the front headlights changed. The rocker panels aren't correct for a GT500, neither is the color, the oil cooler inlet mesh on the front end, brakes, or wheels.

I did a 17 GT PP1 but with an Auto build. I have never seen another 1 out there.

Of course it’s real, I didn’t mean the car doesn’t exist.
I just meant the only thing GT500 about it is the front clip.
