The only thing that will change IMO, but likely nothing
1. Any changes related to problems with 1st year run, so this is really a fix, not a change
2. Infotainment changes, as they relate to the Mustang platform in general
3. color choices, maybe base model wheel design
Agree they might also play with the setup, antilock brakes and aero. I guess if it's built for several years they will feel the need to do something, like they did with the GT350.

I think it will depend on the reviews and buyer demand. From the initial reviews, I don't think Ford will change much for a few years. If Ford is still building it in 2024, that year will most likely see changes IMO. It may also depend on competitors. If the Camaro doesn't get canceled and Dodge does something great, then there might be an incentive for Ford to add power or make other changes.

I’d laugh if they did a hybrid swan song model.

850hp.

It would also weigh 4500lbs.

That’s one of the reasons I think they’re sticking to the DCT. Motor in between the block and trans. Or make it AWD and it would be 4600–4700 pounds lol.

I would think they may add a couple of new colors and maybe discontinue the slow sellers. Maybe a "Wide Body"??? LOL

I said it before I’ll say it again.... and I ordered an R for 2020...But as much as I love banging through gears.... that automatic trans is beyond on point as far as near perfect shifts- I don’t see them going backwards offering the 500 in manual- I just don’t see it

No manual will be offered in the 500. the 350 group has been just as much vocal on a DCT or auto option. Ford is having zero problems selling the 500 as a DCT only or the 350 in a manual only for that. I’m with most, you’ll get some different colors and maybe a KR version.

Car doesn't need more power but I'd like to see an improvement in the 500's ability to put the power down in a non track setting. Also get rid of the launch delay.

Would like to see a manual trans option. When the GT500 first went on sale Ford said they were not apposed to the possibility.

If shifting gears gives you giggles, I get it.

But, if performance is your game, choosing a manual over this DCT would be dramatically counter-productive.

I wouldn't hold my breath. I do wonder how adamant Porsche was on not doing a manual, before they changed their minds...if anyone knows.

Maybe the fender vents make it onto some super duper model 500!
Real adamant until everyone lost their mind when they took the manual out of the 911 GT3. Which they ended up putting back in. Their latest dumb move which has been corrected was taking the flat six out of the Cayman GT4, Boxter Spyder and the Cayman and Boxter GTS's. You think Ford would have paid attention?

They did and pulled their six cylinder from the Mustang lineup some time ago.

The DCT is so awesome, I have yet to press the M button and hit the Flappy Paddles. Is that wierd?

EDIT - My left knee is a wreck so I really don't miss clutching in traffic.
Won't the new MACH1 have a 3rd pedal?

The new Mach got the TR3160 from the GT350.
