Wait, I'm a bit confused. Is the fighter jet grey only available with the performance pack? I wouldn't be able to get the color as a base mach 1? Or is that currently unknown?

“The Mach 1 comes with the choice of seven exterior colors: Iconic Silver, Shadow Black, Oxford White, Velocity Blue, Twister Orange, Race Red, and Grabber Yellow. The satin-black vinyl side and hood stripes can be had trimmed in either red or white.

Ford is offering an appearance package for the new Mach 1 that only comes in Fighter Jet Gray, and it has a ton of orange accents. Those satin-black side and hood stripes have Appearance pack–exclusive orange trim, the Brembo brakes are orange, and the seats have an orange bar stitched across the back.”

Not having it hit 500, or at least more than the Bullitt, is kinda silly.

I haven’t read through this whole thread but I’m guessing it would take more development than Ford was willing to do soon to the S650 release to up the NA Coyote to 500 on 93 while living very, very reliably on crappy 87 in a global market. The Bullitt version was ready to go. I am a little disappointed they didn’t follow the 03-04 Mach I example of an upgraded engine and shaker hood, but the Tremec makes it worthwhile.

doesn't seem like it. it seems like there are three areas with packages. handling, outside appearance, and interior.

the FJG is on the outside appearance package. and thus far seems seperate than the other packages, i.e. they aren't required to get it. we'll see though.

hopefully the “base” will be able to get fighter jet gray, that’s what I want.

Now that you can see what the shaker hood could have looked like on the S550, I don’t like it. I know it would have been historically correct, but it just doesn’t work on our cars.

Does anybody know what's the difference between the TR6060 and TR3160 Tremecs? I had the latter on my last Corvette, and it was a POS. Much prefer my current MT-82 D4. I understand the 3160 is more robust, but for those who won't track or abuse their cars, what's the difference between the 3160 and the D4, both in summer and winter? Just curious. Never driven a GT350 or a TR3160, hence my question. Thx.
