5th to 6th shift issue

They rebuilt mine for me. Whole host of replacement pieces. New 3rd, 4th and 5th gears, new synchros. I was surprised that they didn't want to just do a swap.

They did it just a few months back, haven't noticed any changes on the road since it was completed, meaning it is as good as new. Track days and autocross are starting up, so time will tell now.

Had the same issue here. Started with grinding when downshifting from 6 to 5. Moments later complete transmission went down and car was towed to the dealership. It happened a couple of weeks after a complete new engine went in, back in February. They rebuild the transmission but took them more than 3 months to get all the parts. All was done under warranty. Trans and shifting feels normal now but I do have some vibrations at 60-70 mph which I did not notice before. Car will go for a complete fluids change end of next week and told the dealer they need to check it out. Can’t wait to hit the track again and test new engine and rebuild trans.
