LOVE the front end, LOVE the rear spoiler. Other than that, rebadged BULLITT with better handling.
The Bullitt didn't come with a Tremec nor engine/trans/diff coolers. This car is great; the Bullitt was a rebadged GT PP1

This is the car I'll get over the Bullitt. I almost pulled the trigger on the Bullitt... but I think I'll wait for this.

Damn... super impressive. Loving that it has Tremec tranny.

This is disappointing all we get is a Bullitt with a new bumper cover and a Boss 302 like grill. Who's to say the front bumper cover might be the 2021 Mustang face lift bumper.

What? The Bullitt has nothing on this car.

Mach 1 goodies that the Bullitt does not:

Tremec trans
305 Cup 2s
Engine/trans/diff coolers
350 spoiler
Front splitter

Tremec for me really doesn't matter for me.. as I've had great luck with the MT82. As for the diff/trans coolers, great for those 1%er's who track there car. What's the price on this 480 BULLITT engine badboy?

That's fair. If a buyer isn't interested in tracking their car, I would think this would be a waste of money then

The track package gets the GT500 swing+Gurney flap.

At least there is some love for the Mach 1 on this forum. People on the general forum are crapping all over it.

Tonight, I just gave cc# to my local dealer for $500 deposit, 1st allocation.
My 15gt, 72month loan will be paid off the day I get the Mach1 in March.
Finally able to get a gt350 looking front end for ~$50k in a limited edition mustang with the Mach badge
I’m stoked!!
It’s a gorgeous car!

I was hoping for 500hp

I think the car looks very nice overall. Especially the handling package version.

It also has the GT500 rear wing, 20% more belly shield for better aero. I love the front hood stripe and want one on my car. I expect it will be on the track at Hallett on Friday like they did when they introduced the GT350. It is going to be a great Mid America this year. Shelby is bringing some new models to show. They will have one of the two original aluminum body GT40s. I expect to see several GT 350Rs at Hallett, along with the Mach 1s, GT500s, and maybe some of the Bullitts will run. Due to the COVID-19 issues, the banquet is going to be replaced with an outside showing of the Carrol Shelby story, and the car show will be a Show & Shine with no entry fee.

The 500 "swing" was first used on the 2019 350. No idea why everyone (even Ford) calls it the GT500 spoiler when it first appeared a year prior on the 350

Maybe it was designed for the 2020 GT500 and the 2019 GT350 used it first to help spread development costs.

I don't actually have any true insight... this is just a guess

I'm assuming the GT500 name itself sells better then the 350 does. If people hear it has parts from the most expensive model, it'll probably help the new model sell better. It's marketing

Give me an A10 with all the goodies. Otherwise I’ll wait for my GT500.

Also, keep in mind that it will be the GT500 wing when these cars are released as 2020 is the last year for the GT350. Overall, I like the car. I understand the using of the Bullitt motor as this is going to be a global car and it saves them having to get a new motor through international certifications.

I do wish they had given it a unique wing, and a shaker as an option, but then again the shaker is going to be easily taken care of with the CDC kit that is set to be released...

Once I finish paying of my 350, I'm going to add one of these to the stable...
