It's been a long time since I've posted about my car being hit. My black Mustang was hit 8 times, my yellow Mustang twice, and now my blue Mustang has suffered it's inaugural damage.

Today on the drive into work, some ******* in a white work van just came right into my lane, hit the side of my car, and took off up the exit ramp he was so desperately trying to get to.

The best part was, a DC cop was right behind us, saw the whole thing, and ignored it. Just took off.

Well, time to call my insurance company.

The cop was behind me the entire time. After the hit, they were still behind me. I had slowed down, they stayed behind me. I turned on my flashers and pulled over to the side of the road, expecting they would stop too, and they took the fuck off, kept going.

Around here there's tons of illegals, that just drive the same way they did back home. Just run other cars off the road.

The kickers are that it's the 1/4 panel, and the metallic blue paint. Would have been far better if they took out an easily replaceable panel like a front fender or something.

By the time I had processed what had happened, the asshole was up the exit, and I was past it. Shit happens fast on the freeway.

Makes a good case for a dash cam. I would have followed him, but understand too the expectation of the police stopping with me. That would ruin my day.

Well, the hit actually occurred on a part of the road that is in Maryland. That stretch of the road is where DC and Maryland come together. So that DC cop actually had no jurisdiction I suppose.

I must say.........I did one hell of a job reacting to that situation.

I nailed the brakes, slewed to the right (thank GOD the cop didn't rear-end me, and no one was to my right), and minimized the damage done. It's actually amazing how little damage there is, all things considered.

Anything to save our babies, right?

Well you're entitled to your ideas/views, but thank god we have more video capture devices so we can record and document when our freedoms and liberties are in jeopardy.
