I will tell you how I got here ... lol

Sat in the demo with Recaro’s (and standard seats) and adjusted to suit. I like to be able to bury the clutch without pointing my toes. To do so I needed the seat reasonably far forward but with the wheel also forward, found that getting in and out would have me wearing the booster a little if I wasn’t very careful. No problem, I would just move the seat a little back on exist and readjust on entry.

Fast forward a little and I’ve just spotted mustang specific clutch pedal extenders. Bolt on, brings the pedal 40mm closer to the driver, reuses the original pedal cover. Seem popular in the states.

Seems like it could be a good option for me - seat 40mm further back, everything feels good left in the original position, full clutch travel without a pointed toe, extra 40mm to get in and out without adjusting the seat every time = could be perfect for me.

For info, I’m 5,9 with a top end healthy bmi i.e. I’m not odd or uncommon proportions :like:

I’ve had a cosworth with Recaro and an M3 with heavily bolstered white leather - had both cars for years and never put any wear on the boosters, without the need to adjust the seats. I like to look after those bolsters ... :like:

I bought one a few years ago after buying my 2016 but it just felt odd to me and I ended up selling it. I'm shorter than you so not sure why you're having issues. Are you adjusting the steering wheel and seatback as required.

I would only need the left one ... :cwl:

Joking aside, those would match my current choice of ear ring ...

Even with long legs, if the seat is all the way back, a clutch pedal extender is very helpful when starting.

I fitted one of these as I found I couldn't find a comfortable seating position for both the clutch and accelerator and then replaced the clutch spring,

That (or the ally equivalent) is exactly what I had my eye on :like:

Has it proved to be robust and did you source it from the states or did you find a UK supplier ?

I buy most of my parts from the US as it tends to be cheaper than using UK suppliers. TBH I totally forgot it was on there, you remove the plate on the pedal and reapply it to the top of the extension so you don't notice it.

I bought one from CJ Pony Parts for my last Mustang. Worked great and install was less than 25 minutes.
