I feel as though it might sort of have this look no?

I would, but unfortunately we won't be seeing this in real life. It will never meet all the regulations. :frown:

Sorry but to me this looks like a random futuristic concept with a pony badge. The frontend and rearend look really off to me, they don't fit the lines of the body.

If S650 is based on a heavily revised S550, as seems to be the case, I wouldn't expect the proportions to change much. But I'm certainly interested to see what direction the styling takes. For me, S550 pushed the boundaries in terms of losing key "Mustang" styling cues. I suspect it'll be a case of evolution and not revolution, in terms of both the architecture and styling.

Personally I really dislike it when so called "designers" create these silly drawings which are never seriously intended to be taken any where near production. Do their own drawings sure, but keep them at home, don't share them.

It's like wanting a simple warehouse built, and you give it to an architect instead on a designer. Good god. I've been there and learned that lesson.

So it would be a resounding NO from me. Plus the dude doesn't even know that wheels work better when they are round. This is the sort of rubbish you get from architects vs designers.

It would be nice to see a return to smoother, cleaner, softer lines. But that isn't happening any time soon.

This design is already out. It's called the Lexus LC. And no, I don't want my Mustang to look like a Lexus.

Those body lines look more Corvette-ish than Mustang, IMHO.

I don't like the huge jack-o-lantern smile on the front. Without that feature it looks good. Impractical because it would be difficult to see out of, but it looks good.

Fair enough :) To be fair Ford can produce a plain box and I'd still buy it if its a Mustang I just love them so much.

Oh I could finally do that thing from movies where they slide sideways under a semi trailer.
