Amazing what paint correction can do it's definitely key before applying coating!

About to start your process tonight!!.I just received all of my carpros products today but the only thing I didn’t follow was your polish. I have chemical guys v38 finishing polish that has done extremely well with my cars in the past

my question is, if you can’t get it done all in one day, is there something you should wipe the dark off with prior to applying the ceramic? Or even in between the first and second coat? My car is in a garage that isn’t used for anything but storage but I’m sure there’s some sort of dust that gets kicked up? Any advice?

Wipe the dark off..if you mean dust.. just wipe it down with a clean MF cloth and some Eraser (cleaner) that will work. If you are happy with the polish then that’s all that matters. Good luck just follow the instructions in the videos and it’ll be fine! Just til the Ceramic starts to flash...it’ll look like oil or gas on water...purple kinda ! Then wipe off....important to uses straight wipes with the Ceramic application, not swirls! You got this!!!

Car is now all polished and ready for eraser and then ceramic.

do u polish the plastic black plate on the trunk? I was worried about doing that.

Hand polish then eraser and ceramic? I plan on getting adding PPF to that area

Either would be fine! Ceramic can be applied over your glass as well!!

Ok guys- one coat down! Very easy, overly cautious. Took more time probably due to being deliberate but this stuff looks great. Coat #2 going on tomorrow then waiting 24 hours for reload.

Thanks everyone for the tips and tricks. It’s definitely a process but as long as you do things in order and take your time. It’s not that hard. I drug it out over 4 days so no crazy labor.
Camera was a little dirty. The haze killed the shine

Here’s the deal...when you drive in the rain...it actually agitates the dirt off, kinda like washing it! All I’ve done if caught in the rain is hoses it down when I get home, into the garage and wipe it down!
Did you do your wheels too??

Elixir... is the “Pop” on this coating.

I did not do the wheels. I have about 1/4 bottle left of a 30mL kit. I plan on doing the wheels maybe over winter. Anyone have an issue with PPF not adhering after coating? I think I screwed up as my guy told me it’s tough for it to stick after a ceramic coating has been applied. I only planned on getting the front clip and the black trunk piece done
