Does anyone know if the offset is the same for both front and rear wheels for the the 18-20 pp2 wheels? I know the fronts are 19x10.5 and rears are 19x11. Trying to order a replacement wheel to use as a spare, but not sure if i need to order the front or rear wheel. In other words, will the front wheel work in the rear position and will the resr wheel work in the front position, depending on which tire goes flat? Was thinking to order the front since 1/2” narrower. Anyone know?
These Ford Performance wheels are the same spec wise as the PP2 wheels. Just different center caps. The 10.5" wheel has an offset of 24mm and the 11" wheel has an offset of 48mm. The front wheel will fit in the rear, but it may poke a bit due to the offset. The 10.5" wheel sticks out about 4.3" whereas the 11" wheel sticks out about 3.6". The 11" wheel will probably fit in the front, however, I would imagine turning would cause severe rubbing due to the offset. The 10.5" wheel sits about 6.195" inside the hub whereas the 11" wheel sits 7.389" inside the hub. That 1.2" would probably cause some damage during a turn.

To add, if anyone finds a mistake with my math, please correct me. Thanks in advance.

Also, to add, if you only want a spare, get the SVE SP2 wheel. The 19x10 fits nicely front and back. Since it's a spare, it doesn't need to be completely identical. Plus, it'll be cheaper.

Are you sure? Was just looking at the CJ pony site that shows that front has a six and a half inch offset and the back is 7 and 1/2 in I am confused.
I read his comment as, these Ford Performance wheels have the same factory offset as the PP2 wheels.

The wheels come in different sizes. The 10.5 and 11 all have the same offset as normal PP2 wheels.

Thanks, gents. If i am understanding correctly, the best bet is for me to order the 19x10.5” (fromt) wheel. Then, in case of a flat in the front, direct fit, but if i need topit it on the rear, it maypoke out a bit more die to the offset. Simce temporary, does not seem like any issues.

Alright I've decided to stop waiting for sve and just buy these as a direct swap. I'm starting to really like them.
I'll probably do the same soon, what tire size you going with?

I'm probably just going with the 9.5/10 wheel setup and keeping my current 255/275 PP1 tires.

I'm not doing it for performance just for looks. I have some nice Rotors and red Bullitt calipers I'm gonna be installing but the PP1 wheels have too many spokes and they'll block my view of those beautiful new calipers.

Yeah, brembos really shine behind the pp2 design :)
I'm algo going for the 9.5/10 setup and considering conti 285/35 front and 295/35 rears...trying to calculate if the front clears. Believe it should with the 40 ET but not sure 100%

I think I am going to give up on the SVE SP2's since they seem to be on permanent back order and get a set of these. Yeah, these are heavier, but oh well. To be honest, I went from my stock PP1 wheels to the SVE S350 wheels I didn’t really notice much of a difference in my everyday driving. Discount Tire is running a good sale on Michelin tires over the July 4th holiday. I really like these wheels, and it looks like i can get a set rather quickly if I do pull the trigger on some new Michelins

So has anyone ran the 19x10.5's and 19x11 wheels on a 2015 thru 2017 car? I have noticed one person in this thread did, but he was running 305/30 tires, I was planning on running GT350 tire sizes, 295/35 and 305/35. (Would rather have the extra sidewall and tire height) There is a member on here that is running those tire sizes on a 2018 with OEM PP2 wheels, but not sure how different the front fenders/inner liners are between 2018 and newer and 2015 thru 2017's. I have a 2017 that is lowered one inch. My mustang is street driven and I do plan on adding some additional front camber, but don't want to get to crazy, planning on 1.5 to 1.75 degrees at the most. I don't think i will have any issues with the 305/35 rears with a 48 mm offset, but concerned about the 295/35's on the front with a 24mm offset. Just curious if anyone has any input with a 295/35 tire, 24 mm offset on the front of a 2017 GT.

Thanks,

Doug

I am running 19x10/19x11 wheels with 275/35 and 305/35 tires. I wanted the extra sidewall height too. Not exactly what you were looking for but close...

I didn’t want to lower the car before but now I think it needs a slight drop to fill out the wheel wells.

I almost wish I had gotten 19x9.5/19x10 and stuck with tire sizes the same as stock PP1 tires with 40 series sidewalls. They fit the wheel wells perfectly without lowering and they are still plenty wide. And I wouldn’t have had to spend more money on lowering.

This is exactly what I'm doing, saving money on tires, saving money on lowering springs, no fitment issues whatsoever..... Just a perfect direct swap.

I'm not at all sure you'd be saving the lowering money.

255/40 tires would only take about 1/4" out of the gap to the fender up front and barely 1/8" out of the rear gap, compared to your current tire sizes. I don't know whether there's an optical illusion effect coming from the wider wheels, but that would not be apparent in a dead-on side view picture.

I was just doing the math and thinking the same thing. That 255/40-19 is 27.1", a 285/35-19 is 27", seems line a no-brainer to me. The 275/40-19 is 27.7”, a square 285 setup would show 0.05" more gap in the front and 0.3" in the rear.
I had to go look up the 305/35-19, it's going to have 0.13” more gap, an eighth of an inch more than the stock size. I don't know what springs would give you a 1/8" drop.
