so has anybody actually bought a ecoboost HPP??? What do you think so far?? I had a 2016 ecoboost PP and a 2018 GT. Picking up a eco HPP friday.
Let us know your impressions of it, I'm definitely interested (have an order deposit on one).

Car and Driver ran a 5.1 0-60 in a 2018 Mustang EB. I have to tell you having driven both cars the 2.3HP is a different beast. I do believe a mid 4 second 0-60 will be capable with the 10spd auto, while the MT will be under 5.0 seconds.

I have, but I've only had it for 24 hour and haven't gone full throttle. I probably won't for the next 500 miles or so. It seems quick, but not overly so.

I bought it for the total package, not just an extra 20 HP.

A couple of people have purchased one; Jake (I don't remember his complete screen name) and in the "What Have People Paid" thread in the order subsection, a member just purchased a 2020 EB HPP yesterday. I don't recall his name or screen name. Read the last couple of pages of the thread and you may read on his purchase. YMMV.

Remember to pump 93 octane. Also, you have to put more miles...Im sure it will feel faster.
Its more than just 20 hp , though.

1. I'm in CA, so it's 91 + octane booster.
2. It'd feel quicker if I pushed the gas pedal, lol. I don't expect this to have over-the-top acceleration. That's OK, I'm happy with what it is. If I cared about drag racing, I would have the V8. Like you said, the HPP option is more than just 20 HP.

I like it. It is really torquey. It definitely trails off in the high end.

I upgraded from a Fiesta ST because there was too much investment for not enough gains in horsepower. I got the magnaride and active exhaust.

My co-worker has a Focus RS and he remarks about how my HPP sounds a lot like his because it is basically the same engine. Very tuner sounding.

Got it today. Eco HPP, Handling pack. A-10. Short ride home and was impressed by the power. Pulls hard from down low and feels like she just wants to keep going. Handling is magic. Going to do some time in it tomorrow, but so far i'm impressed. Don't forget i'm comparing this to my former 2016 eco PP and my 2018 GT.

it pulls a bit harder than the GT from just getting on the gas from a stop. The torque is instant. Once underway a GT is more powerful, but this car will stomp a base ecoboost. The handling pack is amazing. You can do things a GT will not do unless maybe a PP2. Dealer gave me a good trade in price and took close to $3000 off the sticker. I did not get any rebates, I took the 0% interest instead. I do not have a premium so no leather, but I have quite a few options. Nav, A-10, safety pack ect. Kona blue is pretty nice.It has blue metallic chips in paint and in sunlight its beautiful.

2020 Mustang Ecoboost High Performance Package
Picked up my 2020 Ecoboost Premium High Performance Package May 5. Ordered it Feb 1 and it arrived at the dealer in late March. I elected to delay delivery until some of the virus lockdown had passed. Manual transmission, handling package, B&O, Safe and Smart, Magnetic paint, and Enhanced Security package. Very tight, no rattles. Panel lines perfect. Had the silver hood stripes removed. Great fun to drive in the mountains canyons east of Salt Lake.

I know it is sacrilege, but I did not want the V8. I test drove a 6 speed V8 and it was a lot of fun, but I really questioned how often I would use the full 460 HP. I felt the 330 HP of the ecoboost HPP was plenty for me and I loved how it handled with the Handling Package. But then again, that is just me.

Yes, I understand nothing sounds like a V8, but I like how my HPP sounds in Sport and Track mode. I got every option you could get on a HPP except the A10 and the Recaros. (Didn't want to drive an automatic and I loved the premium seats.) But that is the best part of a Mustang. You can buy it anyway you want from a base rental version all the way up to a fire breathing GT500. I admire everyone's car I see here and love the enthusiasm everyone shows for their Mustang. I've wanted a Mustang for over 40 years, way back in college. Now I have the exact one I wanted and I could not be happier.

To me, it doesn't matter what something else sounds like. If you like it, it's your money, and that's all that matters. Heck, for many years V8's weren't putting out 350hp, and you're getting it from HALF the amount of cylinders!!! I mean holy sh*t, that's pretty impressive.
