deleted the sound tube and plugged with a kit i bought off cj pony parts. don't know why guys are messing around with that 10mm nut. i pulled on the whole thing and it yanked off with minimal effort
Just for future reference you can also get a chair leg end and a 1 inch plug from home depot for less than a buck instead of buying a kit :) which is just a rubber chair leg end and a 1 inch plug LOL

And yes to the bolt. heck with all that trying to take it out. one good yank the whole thing pops off and doesnt even break it just slips over the nut. easy peasy

When you changed out your pads front and rear are they the same ones or different part numbers for front and rear?
Do you happen to know the part number or numbers ?
I am so tiered of cleaning the front wheels !!!! rear wheels don't seem to get much brake dust at all
Yes - they're different. Here are the part #'s:

Fronts:
Z26-1792 - For the 6 Piston Brembo's

Rears:
Z26-1793 - Rears are the same on all GT's

blowfish bracket just came in. Wow what a unit. People weren't kidding when they said it feels like it will outlast the car. Will hopefully get it installed sometime in the next month

yeah I just like the look of the cap instead and whenever I tried looking for stuff at home depot etc. in the past they were always out of stock

by the way, I can tell 0 difference in sound. i like having less clutter in the engine bay though so that alone is worth it

Oh I hear yeah but seems im buying parts for my car from there alot so I started calling it home depot racing. I think there is a shift in sound a bit from front to back but just slight. for my the throttle tip response seemed to be better without that thing robbin air from the intake tube.

Just installed an aFe dry filter. The old one was probably the original and never changed by the PO. Banged it against a wall and a lot of garbage came out. SUPER fast shipping, too! Ordered yesterday about 9:30am and received it today at 12pm. It is a tight fit. Had to loosen a hose clamp and maneuver it a bit, but its in there.

Changed out my OEM wheel nuts for some Gorilla black ones. The original ones were already starting to “ swell” making it hard to get even a 12 point 13/16 socket on. A good excuse to buy these as I like the look better! I ceramic coated them before installing of course!

Installed the Rokblokz today. That was easy. The front upper clip seems flimsy and seems like it could disengage easy. Does anyone have this issue or is it not even an issue?

And not really for the Mustang but more for the garage. I bought two sets of these last night https://sunextools.com/products/22-ton-jack-stands-pair/ from Amazon. Seeing too many horror stories lately about faulty stands killing people. So I decided to buy these and toss my current stands. My and my sons lives are worth the $400 they cost.

i had that happen to me actually, the passenger side front top clip became disengaged from the wheel well lip. and i kept hearing this tapping sound that sounded like it was coming from the fuse panel area. took me a couple days to figure out what it was, but after i reseated it, i have not had any more issues. so, i ultimately attributed it to me not ensuring it was seated properly from the beginning. my issue, not the products.
