Hey all,

Just picked up my first Mustang and first convertible from Carvana. Loving it so far aside from one issue I’m having with the top.

Opening the top works without a hitch however when I go to close the top the molding just behind the passenger window(the molding that runs back to the top rear passenger seatbelt slot) is getting caught, pulled up, and then slams back down the further you bring the roof up. Kind of hard see what is going on exactly from the drivers seat. Haven’t seen this brought up online by anyone but wondering if anyone has had an issue? Trying to avoid a trip to Ford and hoping for an easy fix if possible. Love the car otherwise.

That happened to me once when the trim was not clipped in all the way. Did you double check it has all the clips its supposed to have holding it in?

Thanks for the response. I’m going to check it tonight. I thought I had it fixed the other day but just happened to me again getting back in from my lunch break. Thanks!
