Exhaust Tips inside cleaning GT350

I have a bunch of crud building up on the inside of the exhaust tips on my GT350. I know how to polish and clean the outside of the chrome, but what is the best type of cleaner to use on the inside of the exhaust tips?

I have some Collinite Metal Wax I use to clean up the exhaust tips on my cars. It really brings out the shine on my Corsa tips while doing a good job cleaning up the stock tips on my NIssan.
It's a mild abrasive polish, so it will clean away those deposits and rust while leaving behind a little protective layer to slow down the corrosion.

I honestly would try a 0000 steel wool since there just brushed anyway and will make quick work of refinishing the metal.
