Is yours powered with a flux-capacitor?

Caution: even with that positive experience for one season, not putting these on a tender for that long adversely affects their long term life. Just a consideration...

Just replaced the stock crap battery in my 2 month old 19 with an Odyssey AGM 96R last night. 600 CCA.
Didn't want the dealer to replace it with another crap battery.
96R fits perfect. Let it sit overnight so the Battery Mgmt. system would reset

If I ever change the battery, I will get one of those light ones. At least you save 10 or 15 pounds ... might as well if you change it. The stock one weighs a ton. Even my BMW battery is much lighter...

Regarding a lightweight battery... I'm done with them. I used to AX frequently, and put powerful, lightweight batteries in my AX cars (STi, Miata). Those batteries never seemed to last more than a year, and then I'd be . For a car (or battery) that you dedicate for racing, I get it. For a daily driver, meh. I'll take the extra weight for the reliability. Just my 2 cents.

Regarding a heavy battery... I used an old battery from a car I no longer have as a core swap for my new GT350 battery. I kid you not, that old battery (Bosch AGM from an Audi RS4) weighed 50 lbs. The dude at Autozone did a double take and had to reposition to lift it. :)

Depending on the distance to an outlet, you may want to consider this 8' extension. Wish I discovered it years ago, when I first bought my CTEK. So happy with my "discovery" I now share it like I get a kickback...

Had new a 16 GT350 and 17 GT350
On my 16 and 17 GT 350 since they set outside in a carport in the winter and I drove them a little when streets dry I just bought Battery Tender from Walmart less than fifty bucks and worked great. Quick disconnect cord, automatic shut off etc.

Brand new 2020 here. It died the next day lol. I was sitting in the car with the Accessory mode on for over an hour setting up the radar mirror mount.

Bought a battery wall charger from Academy and it charged over night (it was completely dead). Then it died again the next day doing the same thing!

Super annoying, going to see if it's defective when I go to the dealer.

Yep - accessory mode during an install killed mine as well. Once it goes, it doesn't come back the same... Zombie battery!

So i put the brand new Odyssey in last night at 12.9 volts. The instructions said not to charge it if it was above 12.6V.
Turned the car on accy mode today and it was at 12.2 volts.
Car started right up no hesitation at all. I can lock/unlock my car in the garage with the fob from inside the house.
I wonder if it expends energy hunting for the fob. I do have a dash cam, but it's wired to come on only when the ignition is on. Something in these cars draws power when they're off. I have the same dash cam setup in my Sierra 1500 with no issue.

The dealer replaced mine out today. It is unfortunate that they can’t even service my vehicle without scratching the top of my fender. I assume this was done from jumper cables since it needed jumped to get into the shop from sitting over night. This is right in the path of the battery. It could also have been from putting the battery in and just grazed the top edge. I buffed it out at work and it is mostly gone, you have to look real hard to notice it.
