Hey guys, been following the forums for awhile and finally pulled the trigger on Saturday to get a 350. Car is awesome! Put about 250 miles on it in the two days I’ve had it. Anything I should be caught up to speed on?

Are you already thinking about protecting the paint with PPF or some call it clear bra? Put it on my Shelby and it works good. Helps on the road and at track days.

Congrats!!!

Another happy Kona owner here as well. No stripe on mine, but I'm tempted to get the roof blacked out.

Beautiful car. Guess I'll say it before someone else does..............I would've shot the dealer for putting the plate on the front like that.
Now that I got that out of the way. Enjoy it, it's a hell of a ride. I only have 485 miles on my 7 week old. Weather here has sucked.

Congratulations!
Questions
Do you mind telling us the deal you got? That car was way above msrp the last I looked.
Also your temp plate is July ‘19, what’s up with that?
Did they screw into your bumper to install the plate holder? Asking this one because California changed the law about this, making it mandatory. Ouch!

Beautiful! 2019?
  • FP Oil/Air seperator(s) - passenger side at the minimum
  • Rock blockers
  • PPF - You won't regret it - these babies are rock chip magnets (have them do the rear black trunk valance too = incredibly easy to scratch)
  • Ceramic coat the wheels to make cleanup easier
  • If you still can't stand the brake dust get Power Stop Z26's FTW!
  • Get an Airaid 863-399 (Blue) from Amazon - same part as FP but about $10 cheaper - it will look great under the hood of that blue beast
  • White vinyl Shelby lettering and Cobra overlays from Zimcraft
  • Change out the shift knob if you don't like the way it fits your hand
  • Save bookoo bucks on oil changes by ordering oil/filter/drain plug from RockAuto - either DIY or provide to the dealer
  • Enjoy the hell out of it!
  • Great people on this forum - wealth of knowledge

haha that is where I got it. Good people there. My family knows the main guy over there. I got it for $59,999. Believe it or not, this is my first manual I’ve ever owned so I’m still learning but I feel like I have it down for the most part already. Car handles much better then my Redeye lol
