Trying to narrow down a twin disk clutch kit. I definitely want something with sprung hub disks, and came across the Spec Twin disk offerings. I know most go with a Mcleod or Mantic, but I haven't seen any feedback on the Spec kits. Seems like most kits that have sprung hub setups are around 2k, so I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the Spec units, durability, driveability, quality of materials and hardware, etc. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Lethal Performance told me that they like them as well, I was trying to decide if the extra coin for the Mantic is worth it. I'm going to give the Spec P-trim a try

I actually ordered the spec twin disc SS trim and it should be here next week sometime. I'll post up some photos and a review once I put some miles on it

Interested in hearing your results as I am thinking of going to a spec twin as well.

Understand. I've heard conflicting info as to which flywheel to go with and was wonder which one you went with.

I don't believe Spec has the option to go with an all steel flywheel, like some of the other options do. If your car is 100% track machine. I would recommend a steel flywheel option as it will deal with high temperatures and abuse a bit better. My car never does autocross or any type of racing. I like the billet pressure plate, and the sprung hub disk that faces the transmission, and this particular clutch kit is rated at 1010 ft/lbs torque, so it should do everything I need it to do.

Lol. Im sure this thing will be noisy compared to the OEM clutch (which held up surprisingly well ) but Im ok with it as long as it holds the power and lasts a while.
