Imho the coatet exhaust tips of the Bullitt don‘t look very nice after a 5000 miles.
Cleaning with shampoo doesn’t work well. The GT exhaust tips can be cleaned with a metal polisher. Anyone with a good idea for cleaning and sealing the Bullitt tips to make them look more shiny?
Greetings from Germany Michael

There was another thread a year or so ago, started I think by Matt Maran, where his tips were "going bad" I don't think were ever heard the result of his enquiry with Ford. He kind of fell of the board after that. I have 5,400 km on mine, but only a fair weather car, and mine are still good.

When he took it to a dealer, they wanted to replace just the mufflers, and not the entire catback.

He left them as is from what I remember.

Seems like the flat black high-temperature spray paint you can get at Home Depot would do the trick?
