I just got mine in the mail today. You're going to have to forgive my sleep deprived brain, but when you say 3rd nut from the edge do you mean the 3rd nut in from the sides (the closest to the center)? Because there's more than one edge.

Yes, I believe you'll be using the nut closest to the center-line of the car.

mines going to arrive on Friday and is going straight to the body shop for color match and install. I hope to have pics next week. Cost of spoiler paint and install 450.00

Yes there are a number of mounting nuts to use. The 2 middle for sure, the outer holes likely depends on what factory spoiler you have. I have a PP2 and there was no drilling.
