Red Lines falling on my face

So the orange peel got back from the Beauty. Shop and now the less than a year old Redline hood struts are toast.

Has anyone, anyone at ALL had your Red Line Hood Struts fail inside of TWO YEARS?

I know that it's only been a year, Imma looking for incidence of failure here.

Do I have a shit fit at the body shop?

31/2 years and mine are as good as the day I fitted them !

Regardless of what the cause was, get in touch with Redline, and they'll replace them, no questions asked. Their customer service is fantastic!

It's really great to see a company that stands by what they sell. The Redline set that are on my 2020 GT were bought new for my 2015 GT in 2015. They were moved to my 2018 GT. And recently I reinstalled them onto my 20. What can I say Boys and Girls that is going on 6 years and three cars. I may be rolling the Dice at this stage but they seem to be fine and are still working. A light wipe off of WD40 is all I have ever done to them.

They are a great company to work with. I had an issue with the mounts, emailed them on a Sunday about it, and got revised replacement mounts that Tuesday, no questions asked.

Mine are 5 years old and good.....in the cold they seem borderline but once it gets above 50 they are solid....

Glad they stepped up to replace them. I had them on 2 different Mustangs and they were good when i sold the cars.
