Doug @Discount Tire really stepped in and helped me out. He got the pricing and tires all setup to be delivered through my local Discount. Ill report back when I get em mounted.
Thank you for your business and kind words. Let me know if there is anything we can do from our end to be of further assistance.

Whats the going rate, roughly for these R2 tires?? Same as same size NT05R or more?
Thank you for the inquiry- PM on the way!

The 555R2 was a road race tire back around 2005-10. I ran a set on my Terminator for road courses. For street, I ran the R2 on the front and the 555R DR on the back, but for course work put a big set of R2's on the back. I don't know if this is a re-release or if they are just reusing the name on a new tire, but I loved them for track days.

The good thing about these is the nt555r did not come in a good 17 in wheel size.I think it only went up to a 275.These new ones come in 305/45 and 315/35 17.If they hook like the old 555r's and have these new sizes it will be great.

Not Mustang specific but it is pretty cool that someone is finally getting on board with taller dr sizes. This will help the truck world out tremendously. Driveshaft's taking flight due to reaching a critical rpm on shorter dr's has become a common occurrence in the Ram community & also in some GM's. At some point the tire world was going to have to finally come around since the 6, 8 & 10 speeds have come about. Just the sheer safety issues alone, this is great news. Kudos Nitto.
